My single occupancy room had an amazing large single bed, more like a small double, room was large enough as was the bathroom. Breakfast included in the price was really delicious with lots of choice and really attentive and friendly staff on hand. The location was great too, despite the fact that I was in Harrogate for an event on The Stray getting to and from on foot was very easy. Ideal location for visiting the whole of Harrogate especially the bars on and around Parliament Street only 6 minute walk away and Bettys Café Tea Rooms 9 minutes. Train station is a 16 minute walk away. Oh, and definitely go and have a lovely walk around the beautiful Valley Gardens, the entrance opposite the Royal Pump Room Museum is just a 3 minute walk away.
Nothing that I didn't like. I has an amazing stay and there is nothing about the hotel that I did not like. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed at the swan several times and the updated rooms are lovely and comfortable.
I rang and asked for an updated room as the beds are better quality ( I’ve just had a back operation) we were given one of the older rooms and the bed was very uncomfortable. It has put me off staying again.

The room was ok, breakfast was lovely hot and fresh. Ideally situated for main town and close to Turkish Baths.
Our room had bits all over the carpet ! Still not quite sure what is was. We had looked at display cabinets and we were wanting to purchase a few items and were told to come back after 11am, we did explain that we were checking out for 11 and had another appointment for 11. Basically told NO we purchased nothing.

Beautiful building/ lovely decor/ lovely location and staff. Pretty facade

Breakfast was amazing ,love the buffet breakfasts .
Room was a single room with 2 single beds put together ,bathroom sink taps loose and plug wasn't working properly, wasn't great for a couple on holiday ,we should have had a better view room af the front ,wasn't happy about the 10% service charge, shouldn't have guests paying for the service when the staff should get propper wages for the job they do ,service should be in the job description. But we would definitely go back to the old swan but choose a better room . Not the one 350 room for a business person or a single person. Wasn't impressed with 2 singles put together, condensation on windows and broken glass window in the bathroom.
